Vow Renewal Ceremony
I Still Choose You
A vow renewal isn’t about starting over. It’s about pausing to celebrate everything that has happened since you first said “I do”, the adventures, the ordinary days, the challenges, the growth, the family, and all the little moments that made your marriage yours.
Whether you’re celebrating a milestone anniversary, making up for a wedding that didn’t quite feel like you, or simply want an excuse to stand together and say, “I still choose you,” your ceremony should reflect the two people you are now.
That’s where I come in.
Your Ceremony
From our first chat through to the ceremony itself, I’ll make sure you know what to expect, what’s happening when, and that everything is taken care of on the day. My aim is to make the whole experience feel relaxed, personal and easy, so you can focus on each other and the people you’ve brought together to celebrate.

The Story Continues
You Story
01.
Before we talk about the ceremony, I want to hear about you. We’ll chat about your journey together, what you’ve experienced, what you’re celebrating and why now feels like the right time to renew your vows. Whether it’s been five years or fifty, there’s a story worth telling.
Your Vows
02.
This is where we bring your story to life.
We’ll talk through your vows, the people you’d like involved, any rituals or traditions you’d like to include and the overall feel you want for the day. You can revisit the vows you originally made, write something new, or have a little support finding the right words.
03.
Celebrate
When the day arrives, you don’t need to worry about what comes next. I’ll guide you through your ceremony, settle those little pre-ceremony nerves and make sure everything feels relaxed and personal. You simply get to stand beside your person, look around at the people you love and celebrate the life you’ve created together.
From our first chat to the moment you renew your vows, here’s what you can expect along the way. A simple, personal process with plenty of support and no need to have it all figured out from the start.
The Journey to Your Renewal
-
We’ll start with a phone or Zoom call to lock in your ceremony date and have a chat about what you’re imagining.
We can explore location, ceremony style, vows, family involvement, rituals and anything else that matters to you.
There’s no one-size-fits-all vow renewal here. It’s your marriage, your story and your moment.
-
We’ll talk about what you want your vow renewal to feel like, whether that’s intimate and heartfelt, relaxed and fun, or something with a little more ceremony.
We can explore:
Your vows — write something completely new, revisit your original vows, or have a little help finding the right words.
Your people — involve your children, family or closest friends in a way that feels meaningful to you.
Rituals & traditions — bring back something from your wedding day or create a new ritual that represents where you are now.
Your story — celebrate the moments, memories and milestones that have shaped your marriage.
And if you’re not quite sure what you want yet? That’s okay. We’ll figure it out together.
-
All you need to do is be present.
Your ceremony delivered up to 30 minutes and will be warm, personal and completely centred around you.
I’ll be there to guide you through it all, including those inevitable pre-ceremony nerves.
Expect a calm presence, a good listener, a few laughs and someone who genuinely cares about getting the details right.
And yes, I’ll check in with you before the ceremony too. Because even when you’ve been married for years, standing in front of the people you love and saying “I still choose you” can bring a few butterflies.
-
Absolutely. Whether you want to revisit the vows you made the first time around or create something completely new, I’ll help you find the right words.
You don’t need to be a writer, I’ll give you guidance and support to make the process feel easy, personal and true to your relationship.
And if you want my tip? Keep them a secret from each other. There’s something pretty special about hearing your partner’s words for the first time during the ceremony.
-
Absolutely. Your vow renewal should reflect who you are now, so if there’s a ritual, reading or tradition that holds meaning for you, we can absolutely include it.
You might want to bring something back from your original wedding day, create a new tradition or involve your children and family.
My advice? Choose something because it means something to you, not simply because it’s expected. If you’re not sure what would work, I can help you find something that feels personal and authentic to your story.
-
No. Because you’re already married, there’s no new marriage paperwork required for a vow renewal. A vow renewal is a symbolic ceremony celebrating the marriage you already have. It doesn’t create a new marriage or change your existing legal status.
-
You can choose a location that means something to you — your home, a garden, venue, beach or another meaningful place. I can talk through your ideas and what will work best for the ceremony.
